This form of private or semi-private coaching / consultation reverses the process of standard script breakdown or analysis in that it often begins as early in the creative process as possible (sometimes before there is a script at all(, and/or often before reading any script in progress.

Unlike standard script analysis or doctoring that seeks to enhance or repair what is on the page, this process centers on the creative process itself and divining what the author is after and what is possible rather than on story mechanics and editing. It can produce stunning results in less time that exceed all expectations and often releases material in minutes or hours that the client otherwise would take up to years to formulate or discover if ever.

This applies equally to manuscripts, screenplays, training packets or presentation tapes, mission statements, and other business plans or proposals. It helps creators in any role or stage of the creative / commercial processes or continuum in divining and defining their vision - the earlier, the better - and communicating that vision to others.

This applies to anyone in the creative and commercial chain who have just the beginnings of a vision they wish to create from scratch or who have a project they must find a way to make work. In all cases, the goal is to draw out a project's most resonant and potent form possible to bring the project to fruition and in front of an audience.

With the above completed and solidly in hand, it is then possible to create the best presentations, pitches, and promotional strategies possible with a full understanding of the project and its target audiences as well as how to translate that into clear concepts and marketing campaigns.

“After seven years and two manuscripts, I was less than thrilled with my novel's character development. I knew I had a good story, but I also knew I needed help. After traveling from Paris, France, where I lived, I met with Patrick in Los Angeles at his weekend seminar. After a day with Patrick I was convinced he could help. A genius in seeing to the heart of the matter and a master at getting you to understand the motivation of each and everyone in your work, Patrick took my years of searching and clarified it in two weeks. Not only does he help you write a great story, he makes you feel that you are a great writer. With his help, I am definitely on my way. The story is magnificent.”
