There are three general forms of story, mission, or project coaching and consultation services available.  In all cases, the earlier they are used in the combined continuum of the creative and commercial process the better. The more they are used to support the needs and empower the overall contributions of all the collaborative players involved the better. This is true regardless of the medium, arena, and/or the roles or level of expertise of the people or organizations involved. They include:

Unlike other services that provide assessments or notes on what is already completed after the fact that clients may or may not know how to implement (and generally are receiving too late in the process), these procedures walk writers, filmmakers, project managers through steps needed fully tap a project's potential power and move efficiently from concept to completion and completed promotion. There is little point to helping clients fine tune the 10% of a project's potential they may have managed to capture, as is usually the case, when the real power and potential of the project are left untapped, unfulfilled, and un-addressed. There is still less point to giving critiques or assessments that the client then has to learn how to translate into action to be able to apply.

These services uniquely allow clients to begin with an almost unprecedented understanding of and handle on their material and project before they even begin, rather than leave them fumbling lost or stuck at the surface trying to find it. They enable clients to execute the project they could have created fully and efficiently rather than just trying to fix or patch the one they managed to find their way through.  The result is the creatively successful and commercially viable project you were really after, will know how to promote, and is truly ready to represent you and be read. Best of all, they address the creative and commercial processes with an understanding of both the very private and very collaborative processes involved in a language and set of integrated paradigms that address the contributions and needs of all.

While many clients find one initial session adequate for the leap or breakthrough they are seeking in their life, work, and specific project, some will utilize multiple session packages to guide them through capturing their vision in ways that will powerfully and deeply move identified target audiences and create viable strategies for promotion.

Of special value, these services can be provided in preparation for and to debrief after specific presentations, meetings, pitches, auditions, etc. to create the most effective impact and best learning experience from them. This reflects the reality that these encounters are themselves living stories in the making. This specific application of coaching services fits particularly well within the broader life and career "story" planning so fundamental and powerfully effective for many clients.

"First comes a good script. A budget and a business plan follow.  I have recommended Patrick’s seminars and consulting to many clients, who have thanked me profusely.  He consistently has opened their eyes with his techniques.  He invariably shows you how to get to the heart of what you want to say.  Not by following a proscribed structure but by understanding and nurturing what it truly means to be a storyteller."

"We already had attachments to our project, but Patrick's coaching helped me connect on a crucial emotional level. From there the script really came alive."
